| Edible-nest swiftlet, Aerodramus maximus , is the only edible nest swiftlet found in Silabur cave. They usually fill the airspace above Southeast Asia, feeding on insects that flying in the air. The only time for them to landed is on their nests. This swiftlets feeds over open country, scrub, coastal plains, developed areas as well as over the forest. Here, in Silabur area, they nest inside the dark cave systems. |
