Silabur Cave is synonym to Kampung Lobang Batu and one of Borneo’s greatest attractions. Silabur Cave is accessible by jungle trekking which take about 1 hour from the Kpg Batu Mawang village . It take another 1 hour of climbing to the entrance which situated at the middle of the Mt Silabur. At around 6 to 7.30 am and 5.00 to 6.30 pm each day, thousand of swiftlets blacken the sky as they entering Silabur Cave multiple small entrance at the top, side & middle of Mt Silabur.
How To Go There
From Serian roundabout, you follow the road to Tebedu at KM12 reach junction to Tebakang/Mongkos Road. You will get to a junction just after Tebekang bazaar the small shop. SMK Tebakang Turn left and after KM 16 km there is SK Lobang Batu and opposite turn right entering small kampung road leading to Kpg Batu Lin/Batu Mawang about 1.5 km inside.
The entrance fee to Silabur is RM10 per person paid to the Silabur Association at the Coop Tukar shop.
